Jorge Rivera Noriega

Jorge Rivera Noriega obtained the B. Sc. and M. Sc. degrees from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. As a fellow of the CONACYT-Fulbright-García Robles program he pursued the doctoral studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and upon obtaining the Ph. D. degree under supervision of Prof. Steve Hofmann, he took a three-year position as J. L. Doob Posdoctoral Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Rubén Alejandro Martínez Avendaño

Rubén A. Martínez-Avendaño has an undergraduate degree from the Universidad de las Américas-Puebla, Mexico and his doctorate in mathematics from the University of Toronto, Canada. He held a postdoctoral position at Michigan State University, U.S.A. Upon returning to Mexico, he joined the Centro de Investigación en Matemáticas of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Hidalgo and since August of 2018 he is a full profesor at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.

Carlos Vladimir Rodríguez Caballero

Vladimir Rodríguez holds a BSc in Actuarial Sciences from Faculty of Sciences, UNAM, a MSc in Economics from University of Guanajuato. Vladimir holds a PhD in Economics from  the Center for Research in Econometric Analysis of Time Series, CREATES, at Aarhus University, Denmark. He was postdoctoral researcher at Carlos III University of Madrid and Assistant Professor of Econometrics with tenure track in the same university. Vladimir has banking professional experience having worked in Risk Management departments in three different Banks in Mexico.

Adrián Rubli Ornelas

Adrian Rubli received his PhD in Economics from Brown University. He works primarily in the areas of applied microeconomics, specifically in development economics, health economics, and empirical industrial organization. His research focuses mostly on understanding how healthcare providers and health policies interact and shape population and market outcomes in developing contexts, in particular Mexico.

Víctor Alberto Villavicencio Navarro

Víctor Alberto Villavicencio Navarro has a BA, MA, and a PhD in History by the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He also has a MA in History of the Hispanic World by the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas de Madrid, Spain.

Between 2015 and 2018, he served as Head of the Deparment of History and Social Sciences at the UNAM’s Centro de Enseñanza para Extranjeros, where he coordinated and organized several courses, seminars, and diploma courses on Mexican History and Culture.

Edgar Francisco Román Rangel

Edgar F. Roman-Rangel is currently a Full-time professor at the department of Computer Science of the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), where he conducts research in the area of intersection of computer vision, representation learning, and cross-modal signal processing, applied to cultural and societal challenges.
