David Moreno Guinea

David Moreno Guinea holds a B.A. in Political Science from ITAM, a B.A. and an M.A. in Classics from UNAM, and an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Political Philosophy from the University of Dallas. At ITAM he has taught courses on the history of Political and Social Ideas and Institutions, of Problems of Contemporary Civilization, Classical Political Theory, and Political Philosophy and Tyranny. His academic work is centered on the nexus between political philosophy and the concept of tyranny in Xenophon, Plato, Aristotle and Machiavelli, and on Leo Strauss’s critical reading of them.

Pavel Jiménez Vázquez

BA in Philosophy from Universidad Panamericana (Mexico) and MA in Philosophy from the University of Dallas. He is a doctoral candidate in Philosophy at the University of Dallas, where he is writing a dissertation on Aristotle’s review of Platonism in the Metaphysics. His education and interests include the classics, the Western intellectual tradition in the Great Books, and the humanist tradition in Mexico, as well as contemporary philosophy of science, philosophy of mathematics, and metaphysics. His teaching experience has chiefly been in ancient philosophy and classical languages.

Roberto Zocco Pasimeni

Engineer by heart (Polytechnic of Milan) is a philosopher and theologian by vocation. Graduated in Philosophy and Theology from the Gregorian University (Rome, Italy), has obtained a Master in Dogmatic Theology at the University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (Germany), where he is completing his PhD in Philosophy on the concept of "person" in Robert Spaemann and its consequences in law and economics.

Alfredo Gerardo Martínez Ojeda

He obtained his B.A. (Philosophy) and his M.A. (History of Thought) at Universidad Panamericana. He obtained his PhD (Philosophy) at UNAM. He was a CONACYT national scholarship holder from 2012 to 2016 and was honored with a UC MEXUS-CONACYT postdoctoral fellowship to make a research stay at UCSD (2017). He is a member of the Red Iberoamericana Leibniz since 2013.

Carlos Gutiérrez Lozano

Carlos Gutiérrez Lozano got his PhD in Philosophy from Universidad Iberoamericana with a thesis dissertation about the metaphysical thinking of Nietzsche and Heidegger. Nowadays, he is studying a PhD program in Philosphy of Religion at University of Innsbruck, where he is working on a thesis dissertation on the religious world view of John Henry Newman and Ludwig Wittgenstein. He specializes in Nietzsche, Heidegger, John Henry Newman and René Girard’s thinking, about which he has lectured in different universities around the country.

Stefano Straulino Torre

He has a degree in philosophy from the Panamerican University and a PhD in philosophy from the University of Navarra. He has made research stays at the University of Leipzig. He lectures General Studies courses at ITAM, and also teaches humanities and philosophy courses at the Panamerican University. He has also taught at the University of Navarra and at the University of Montevideo. His main research topic is the theoretical philosophy of Immanuel Kant, in particular his theory of knowledge. He has published a book and several articles on this theme.

José Rafael González Díaz

Professor José Rafael González Díaz studied Philosophy and Theology at Universidad Pontificia de México, where he learnt Latin and Greek, and taught Metaphysics, Theory of Knowledge and Patrology. He got his BA in Philosophy with a thesis dissertation about Emmanuel Mounier´s Personalism. Later he got an MA in Education from Centro Universitario México, and an MA in Human Rights from Universidad Iberoamericana, where he specialized in political participation and philosophy.

Arturo Peláez Gálvez

Masters in Political Sociology from the Instituto Mora and BA in Philosophy from the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac. He also studied Political Science at ITAM and Theology at the Instituto Superior de Estudios Eclesiásticos de la Ciudad de México. 

José Pantaleón Domínguez Esponda

He is full-time professor at Departamento Académico de Estudios Generales. He has a Licentiate degree in Philosophy from Universidad Panamericana; Master in Philosophy from Universidad Anahuac del Sur and he is currently writing his dissertation in Philosophy to obtain the PhD from Universidad Anáhuac del Sur. He has studies in Economics from ITAM and studies in Theology from the Universidad Pontificia de México.
